A lovely petite French watercolor painting sourced in Paris, signed and dated 1938, titled Ile de la Grande Jatte, which is an island in the river Seine, situated at the very gates of Paris, approximately 7km from Notre Dame. 

It is best known as the setting for  George Seurats oil painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grand Jatte (1184-1886)

Mounted on linen in a vintage brushed gold frame.
