Mid to late 1800s French Napoleon III-era marquetry and burl wood box. Inlay work features distinctive marquetry borders inset with intricate mother of pearl and gilded brass stringing.
Fitted with an integrated brass escutcheon plate and lock, supported by turned bun feet.
